Using the form at the left, I do a 38 point inspection of each guestroom, conference/ballrooom and common area including stairwells, elevators, hallways and entrances. Then I summarize the information into easy to manage lists so that you can see which rooms need specific repairs.
Fees for the detailed inspection including a separate checklist for each room and a summary of rooms that need specific repairs are $5/guestroom or conference room. Common areas including stairwells, elevators and hallways are inspected free of charge. So for a 100 guestroom property with 6 conference rooms the fee would be only $530.
Travel expenses come into play when the property is more than 30 miles from my office in Basalt, Colorado (81621). Then it is $1 per mile over 30 miles. So if your property is 60 miles away, the travel fee is 30 miles x $1 or just $30. Travel expenses can be negotiated for properties over 150 miles away.
